The success of a new blog or website has definitely something to do with the first 3 weeks of its launching. The rich bloggers of today also started their blogs just like we are doing but they also did something else. Some of those things are:

1) Connect to your readers by giving them a chance to contact you or know about you. This can be done by adding a WELCOME MESSAGE or an ABOUT PAGE.

2) Don’t run after promotion while having just 2 or 3 posts on your blog. First try to make your blog some contentful.

3) Make sure to add your feedlink on some top of your blog so that readers don’t have any problem with subscription.

4) Also do add E mail subscription link for your blog. This way you can gain much knowledge of your subscribers. Feedburner and Feedblitz offer this service for free.

5) While posting articles try to include your keywords at least in the title, subtitle, first and last sentences of your articles.

6) Try to have the name of your blog similar to your keywords. For eg. if your blog is about forex then your blog could be forex.com or foreign-exchange.com or something like that. You can use hyphen(-) in order to use multiple important keywords.

7) When your site has at least 15 pages submit your URL to Google, Yahoo and MSN. Don’t bother about other search engines because many of them are just the portals of these big ones.

And now the real fun begins. You have launched your new blog. Now start attracting more traffic to it.
