I read recently that Alexa is no longer including traffic from social media sites like Digg and StumbleUpon in their calculations - that is goign to messs some people up!

Ya I also think that the decision of alexa of not including digg or stumbleupon traffic for the ranking is not good.

haha are sure setting all your office pc or computer in cyber cafe to your blog as homepage is good/wise action ?

I don’t think so. your boss will find out you have blog, then how can you complaint about your boss or office mate.

even in cyber cafe, you think the kids wont vandalize your blog, by giving useless comment ..

strictly no for me..
I prefer to get link /exchange link
increase traffic by post unique content and benefit all

Of course setting cyber cafe or office homepages to your blog is not the best way to increase pageviews(and as a result your alexa rank) but at least its a lot better than those useless alexa autosurf programs if you really want fake traffic results.

I want to know one more thing…Would i get more benefit , if i have high Alexa traffic ranking? Does it drive more traffic to my web site?

Sorry for the late reply.
As for alexa, its a type of ranking that you get according to the amount of the traffic your site recieves. So having good alexa rank is not, anywhere, responsible for driving more traffic. Alexa increases as your site’s traffic increases.

About point 8, you forgot to mention why you don’t recommend its use. Why is that?

See, I have heard Alexa autosurf programmes are good till your blog is brand new; its alexa increases very fast. But in the long run it will not work that good. I would suggest don’t go for these programmes. At least you can trust me, blogoninja has 153,000 alexa. And I haven’t ever used alexa autosurf for any of my blog.
