If you see a blog of a successful blogger you can easily understand from its content why he is so successful. According to me the characteristics of successful bloggers are:

1) They create their blogs that relate to their hobbies or else about their experience in particular niche.

2) They expertise in what they are doing and then reach for the top in their niche.

3) They actively promote their blogs and participate others’ blogs, forums, etc related to their niche.

4) Apart from promoting their own site they also promote and link to other sites related to their niche through their posts giving their users more content.

5) Top bloggers don’t lose hope by one or two losses. Remember success is falling nine times and rising ten.

6) They make money from multiple resources. The strategy of online success is adopting multiple strategies.

7) They don’t waste their time in doing non-essential tasks related to their blogs.

For an ambitious blogger his blog is just not another webpage but a business. He doesn’t lose track of his revenues, earnings, keywords, links, etc.

9) They make their blogs user friendly and not self friendly. You can see why big blogs earn so much, because they provide good content to their users and not earning opportunities to self.

10) They also keep track of their competitors and their blogs and try to provide better content to readers.

11) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, bloggers don’t run after money. For them getting traffic and readers is most important and not money.
