The Success of the site depends upon various many different Virtual things like Page Rank given by Google, Traffic Rank given by Alexa.com and the number of backlinks a website gets which depends upon the website. And there are websites that calculates all these things and values the page according to them. What these tools do to you is that it estimates the success of the website and this will help you in providing the information whether a blog or site is going well or not. And even you can paste the code they provide on your website to make it attractive and. There are many ways to find out the value of the website.

WebsiteOutlook: This is the tool which I like the most. They not only provide the correct information about the backlinks and page rank but also tells us about how much daily pageviews your page got and how much you can earn with the website on a daily basis. It also tells correctly whether your website is submitted in Dmoz or not and the host I.P. of your website. And all this data will be updated every 15 days.

Cyberwyre : This website also predicts the value on the same basis but this website focuses on how much money it can earn with different means like Text link Advertising, Affiliate Marketing etc.

CubeStat.com : This website focuses on deep website notes like meta info and meta tags on which basis their value.

There are many website like these which can be searched here. But these are the best one.

Backlinks are the most important factors that decide your page rank, technorati authority and traffic. A link from another blog increases your page rank and technorati authority. And if it is a link in between the context of an article that is related to your article it can surely bring a lot of traffic too. So today I will show you some easy tricks that increase backlinks .

Creating any type of a valuable resource article where everyone would like to link. An example can be the dofollow blog list, or a list of photoshop tutorials, or a how to article, or a list of beautiful blog templates. Do you get it? You can think of many other articles according to your niche.

The Evil Way : Write an article that creates some kind of a controversy, for example, an article that attacks a famous person and creates a news on the web or in the blogosphere.

Creating any type of script, or software or application that others would like to talk about and use, for example, creating photoshop icons, wordpress plugins, an entrecard bookmark list, or a short cartoon movie showing Shoemoney and John Chow fighting.

Creating blog templates and distributing them for free. This can work, if you put your blog’s link in the footer of the templates. So the more your template is downloaded and used on other blogs, the more links you get. This is also useful in increasing your technorati authority. You can think of many other tricks just like this one, like creating a widget with a link of your blog. So the more bloggers use that widget in their blog the more backlinks you get.

Be the first to blog about a new website or ebook or any type of e-product, this will attract other bloggers to link to your review if they also write about it after you.

You can also run contests or any newsworthy event on your blog. But try to make it unique, not just another contest just like what we see on most of the blogs nowadays.

Publish an interview of a famous person on your blog. ( or something like Shoemoney and Problogger Face Off as in Dailyblogtips.com).

But wait, I forgot one point. Can you help tell what it was?

Page Rank is what all of us need. However it doesn’t have any big effect on our search ranking but it surely gives us an opportunity to earn some cash through different ad networks.

Contests are on in whole of the blogosphere nowadays. There are contests with giveaways of 1000s of Entrecard credits, sitewide advertisements, text links and hundreds or even thousands of dollars on many blogs. And as a contestant who doesn’t want such great prizes worth thousands of dollars. However as blogger who is hosting a contest, you must know how you can attract your blog visitors to participate in your contests. So today I will tell you what type of contests I would be interested in, to participate. This will give you an idea on how to host a contest so that you can attract more contestants and have a successful contest.

The contest should be easy and attractive. How? I’ll tell you. The entry for participation in the contest should be easy. Like you can let your visitors enter in to the contest just by digging or stumbling your posts or something like that; or by commenting on your posts. Something easy and not time consuming will attract contestants.

Don’t force contestants to write about your contest on their blogs. Many of your visitors will not even enter after seeing way more points being given to contestants who blog about that contest and that’s because it takes some time to write an article.

If you are an entrecarder you may want to offer entrecard credits as the prizes. Why should you offer EC? Because EC are cheap. So you can buy 1000 EC for <$10. So if you offer 1000 EC you will attract more contestants than when you offer $50 cash.

Try to have some point system for choosing the winners; Like 3 points for commenting –> 1 point for stumbling and so on. Don’t use random system, through which a winner is chosen randomly. I never like contests where there is random system.

If you are planning to give prizes in objects and not money or EC then you should set something interesting as your prize. Things like Ipods, XBox, and laptops work very well. You know things like those attract average peple(including me).

Please suggest what type of contests you like.

Blogosphere has so many blogging gurus who can really guide us through to success. The valuable information that they give from their experience has everything we need to succeed online. But do you know there are many other things also that they can give us for a perfect start in online business. So here I am listing 7 ways you can use Big Fishes(Big Bloggers) and their blogs.

1) First of all do subscribe to at least two or three big Bloggers like John Chow, or Shoemoney, or Problogger, etc. A good list of blogs that I love to read is here. Why do subscribe to them ? Because they have been blogging for years and their experience can surely lead you to success.

2) If you are a newbie or someone who is in search of some extra exposure to his blog, then you can become a guest author at these big blogs. If you have a great article that you think can be very useful why not get it published on a big blog. This way you will be read by a much larger number of readers(including those who subscribed to that blog). And who knows, if you are able to get some hundred diggs, you can have a chance to appear at the front page.

3) Another advantage of guest posting is that you can include some of your blog’s links that are related to the topic you are writing that article on. This way you can get many contextual and targeted links from a high ranking blog.

4) Commenting on these blogs can also bring a lot of traffic. If you have some content related to that article suggest that link in the comments section. This will not only bring in traffic but also help in increasing your page rank( if that site has dofollow in the comments).

5) Many big bloggers reward their active commentators by including the Top Commetators widget linking to top commentators’ blogs; also the links in this widget are of dofollow nature. So if you are an active commentator on some of those blogs you may get included in that widget. Thus you can get a free flow of traffic and targeted page rank link till you are active in their comments section.

6) Many a times I view HTML source code of the big blogs. Doing this can certainly help you because this way you get to know how that blog has been Search Engine Optimised or what plugins have been used in it and many other things like where the blog has nofollow and where not.

7) The best strategy to succeed online is to build relationships with other bloggers. So why not build relationships with the BIG FISHES. You can also meet them offline to become friends. And then, as your friend, they will do many things for you. And that’s for free.

Liked it? Please give it a digg or something. So what do you think I have missed, please comment with your suggestions.

Hyperwebenable is the latest and best way to get free hosting and domain for Wordpress for free. First and foremost thing is that you really get free domain and hosting, yes you got it right, they give you upgraded version for Wordpress. That is you don’t need to spend money to get upgraded and then edit your CSS. All you have to do is to apply to Hyperwebenable. You just have to fill out a form giving the details of what type of site you want to create and then in some days they will contact you to give your details for your website and that’s it. Here is what all they give [...]

1. Become proud owner of your website www.yoursitename.com instead of using yourname.blogspot.com or geocities.com/yourname.
2. Convert your own blog (yourname.blogspot.com) to complete site www.yourname.com.
3. Create blog service provider like blogspot.com and provide thousands of blogs to the users.
4. Get multiple services like Blog, Forum, CMS and more.
5. Start your own forum at yourname.com and create best forum.
6. Start your or social networking site for your college or university like orkut.com/myspace.com.
7. Unleash power of website by using CMS scripts like Drupal or Joomala and start full-fledged content site.
8. Interested to start image galleries based site like flicker.com or imageshack.us.
9. Interested in news start your own social bookmarking site like digg.com/del.icio.us.
10. Start your own free wiki site like wikipedia.org with us.
11. Want to start your own classified site like www.craigslist.org.

So what’s the deal; why are they giving me so much. I’ll tell you what. All they want from you is to refer your friends also to them. I don’t mind doing so. And I would recommend everybody to give Hyperwebenable a try.

That was the good news I was waiting to give to all of you and that is why we were not able to post articles for some days. And here comes it: Blog-o-Ninja’s new home is Wordpress. Its been quite a while using Blogger now. Maybe one month has passed since the creation of Blog-o-Ninja and now it has its own domain. However one thing is surely making me some sad, although there is no change in google page rank as this site’s page rank has not been updated yet, but the alexa rank is surely gone. But no worry as with your support soon this site will go somewhere. Past few days have been very hard working but after all that it is ready. And I will tell you how and where this site is hosted now in further articles. Seeyaah!!

Also Internal and external linking [...]
in the sidebars does not have much effect on our page ranks.
The solution is to use contextual links. The links that appear in between the context of an article helps very much to the site we are linking. So while linking to other sites don’t just through the link on sidebars. Instead ask the other person to share contextual link exchange with you so that not only readers get to see your links but also web crawlers get to see them and affect your page rank accordingly.

The success of a new blog or website has definitely something to do with the first 3 weeks of its launching. The rich bloggers of today also started their blogs just like we are doing but they also did something else. Some of those things are:

1) Connect to your readers by giving them a chance to contact you or know about you. This can be done by adding a WELCOME MESSAGE or an ABOUT PAGE.

2) Don’t run after promotion while having just 2 or 3 posts on your blog. First try to make your blog some contentful.

3) Make sure to add your feedlink on some top of your blog so that readers don’t have any problem with subscription.

4) Also do add E mail subscription link for your blog. This way you can gain much knowledge of your subscribers. Feedburner and Feedblitz offer this service for free.

5) While posting articles try to include your keywords at least in the title, subtitle, first and last sentences of your articles.

6) Try to have the name of your blog similar to your keywords. For eg. if your blog is about forex then your blog could be forex.com or foreign-exchange.com or something like that. You can use hyphen(-) in order to use multiple important keywords.

7) When your site has at least 15 pages submit your URL to Google, Yahoo and MSN. Don’t bother about other search engines because many of them are just the portals of these big ones.

And now the real fun begins. You have launched your new blog. Now start attracting more traffic to it.

If you see a blog of a successful blogger you can easily understand from its content why he is so successful. According to me the characteristics of successful bloggers are:

1) They create their blogs that relate to their hobbies or else about their experience in particular niche.

2) They expertise in what they are doing and then reach for the top in their niche.

3) They actively promote their blogs and participate others’ blogs, forums, etc related to their niche.

4) Apart from promoting their own site they also promote and link to other sites related to their niche through their posts giving their users more content.

5) Top bloggers don’t lose hope by one or two losses. Remember success is falling nine times and rising ten.

6) They make money from multiple resources. The strategy of online success is adopting multiple strategies.

7) They don’t waste their time in doing non-essential tasks related to their blogs.

For an ambitious blogger his blog is just not another webpage but a business. He doesn’t lose track of his revenues, earnings, keywords, links, etc.

9) They make their blogs user friendly and not self friendly. You can see why big blogs earn so much, because they provide good content to their users and not earning opportunities to self.

10) They also keep track of their competitors and their blogs and try to provide better content to readers.

11) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, bloggers don’t run after money. For them getting traffic and readers is most important and not money.
