Contests are on in whole of the blogosphere nowadays. And as a contestant who doesn’t want such great prizes worth thousands of dollars. However as blogger who is hosting a contest, you must know how you can attract your blog visitors to participate in your contests. So today I will tell you what type of contests I would be interested in, to participate. This will give you an idea on how to host a contest so that you can attract more contestants and have a successful contest.

The contest should be easy and attractive. How? I’ll tell you. The entry for participation in the contest should be easy. Like you can let your visitors enter in to the contest just by digging or stumbling your posts or something like that; or by commenting on your posts. Something easy and not time consuming will attract contestants.

Its been quite a while using Blogger now. Maybe one month has passed since the creation of Blog-o-Ninja and now it has its own domain. However one thing is surely making me some sad, although there is no change in google page rank as this site’s page rank has not been updated yet, but the alexa rank is surely gone. But no worry as with your support soon this site will go somewhere. Past few days have been very hard working but after all that it is ready. Alexa Ranking is the rank given to your site by Alexa which is based on the number of Alexa toolbar users who visit your site. Thus Alexa Ranking is not the best way to anlyze your ranking.[...]

If we look at Autosurf programmes I can tell from my experience that although it increases your site ranking for sometime but after that your ranking gradually decreases however hard you try.So I say don’t go for Autosurf Program.

Contextual Links Exchange In Blogs

When we link to others blogs through a hyperlink on the sidebars or somewhere else there is very less chance that readers will notice the links since their main concentration is on the articles of our blogs. Also Internal and external linking [...]
in the sidebars does not have much effect on our page ranks.
The solution is to use contextual links. The links that appear in between the context of an article helps very much to the site we are linking. So while linking to other sites don’t just through the link on sidebars. Instead ask the other person to share contextual link exchange with you so that not only readers get to see your links but also web crawlers get to see them and affect your page rank accordingly.

The success of a new blog or website has definitely something to do with the first 3 weeks of its launching. The rich bloggers of today also started their blogs just like we are doing but they also did something else. Some of those things are:

1) Connect to your readers by giving them a chance to contact you or know about you. This can be done by adding a WELCOME MESSAGE or an ABOUT PAGE.

2) Don’t run after promotion while having just 2 or 3 posts on your blog. First try to make your blog some contentful.

3) Make sure to add your feedlink on some top of your blog so that readers don’t have any problem with subscription.

4) Also do add E mail subscription link for your blog. This way you can gain much knowledge of your subscribers. Feedburner and Feedblitz offer this service for free.

5) While posting articles try to include your keywords at least in the title, subtitle, first and last sentences of your articles.

6) Try to have the name of your blog similar to your keywords. For eg. if your blog is about forex then your blog could be forex.com or foreign-exchange.com or something like that. You can use hyphen(-) in order to use multiple important keywords.

7) When your site has at least 15 pages submit your URL to Google, Yahoo and MSN. Don’t bother about other search engines because many of them are just the portals of these big ones.

And now the real fun begins. You have launched your new blog. Now start attracting more traffic to it.

4) Apart from promoting their own site they also promote and link to other sites related to their niche through their posts giving their users more content.

5) Top bloggers don’t lose hope by one or two losses. Remember success is falling nine times and rising ten.

6) They make money from multiple resources. The strategy of online success is adopting multiple strategies.

7) They don’t waste their time in doing non-essential tasks related to their blogs.

For an ambitious blogger his blog is just not another webpage but a business. He doesn’t lose track of his revenues, earnings, keywords, links, etc.
