Today’s post is about domain flipping and domain parking business. For many days I have just been blogging about entrecard, dofollow, templates, etc. So today I thought of writing on something different. Domain flipping is all about buying new domains for as low as $6 from domain companies and then selling them for hundreds or even thousands of dollars as a premium domain. Now you would think does it really work? And for the answer I have some facts to show you:

Business.com was sold for $8 millions.

AsSeenOnTv.com sold for $5.1 million.

Altavista.com – $3.3 million.

Wine.com – $2.9 million.

Autos.com – $2.2 million.

Phew!! This list is endless. And so many millions .
So here is what you can do:

Think of a premium domain.

Buy it from a good domain registrar.

There are many domain companies out there like Namecheap, Godaddy, Name, Register and Yahoo. However I would suggest Namecheap.

Next is listing your domain on several websites for the purpose of selling. Sedo, Sitepoint, Dnforum, Dnjournal, Namepros, etc are some websites where you can list your domains for sale.

Next, till your domain is sold, you can park your domain after registering with a domain parking company. This means whenever someone comes on to the domain you have bought he will be shown a simple web page with some ads on it. So you will get some revenue from it. Namedrive, Sedo, Whypark, Traffic Parking, Skenzo, Domainsponsor, Goldkey, etc are some domain parking companies.

So let’s get started.
